A great beginner class for people interested in learning bookbinding techniques they can easily recreate at home. Artists can learn to bind their own sketchbooks, poets can learn to bind their own writing, crafty people can dip their hands into another medium! In this class we will explore four different stitched journals. Students will go home with a variety of blank journals and the knowledge they need to continue the practice at home. Students should be able to thread and handle a needle, and be able to read a ruler. Materials and tools provided.

Not every stitch shown in the photograph will be taught in class, but students will given instructions to work at home. Example, we only have time to do one two pamphlet decorative stitch, we will learn one based on class vote, and instructions are provided to continue at home.
