In this beginner class we will explore three different journal cover techniques using thin decorative paper. We’ve all been to the art supply store and oogled at all the decorative handmade and Japanese papers… maybe even collecting a piece or two every time you go. (It can’t be just me!) These structures use minimal adhesives making it easy to work with these papers without worrying about warping or glue bleed through.

Students will leave class with three 4×6 paper journals.

All materials and tools provided. A variety of handmade and Japanese paper for covers will be provided as a first come first serve basis.

Class is limited to 4 students.

Class takes place Sunday May 18th 10am-2pm.
