In this beginner to intermediate bookbinding workshop we will create lay flat journals with flexible Japanese paper covers that are sewn with a four needle coptic stitch.

That’s right! Four sewing needles at once! This may be intimidating to beginners, but is a simple structure once you get going. Basic bookbinding or sewing skills, and strong hand stills are a must for this class. Reach out if you have any questions. (lisa@antlereditions.com)

All materials and tools provided to make one 112 page 4×6 journal in class, and materials to make another at home.
